Don't Break the Chain 34 (#310-318)

310. Ah yes, here's Fluffy Dragon's new design. Full view here:

I guess I'll reveal his name now:

...uh...

...wow, this feels so weird. He's only a year old (his first birthday was on the 26th of April, if the date at the top of the sketchbook page where I first started to come up with his design is anything to go by), but I still feel weird giving him a name after he's gone without one for so long. It's like Avatar Guy, except he's gone without a name for nearly SIX years!

Anyway, yes, from now on, Fluffy Dragon in his new design will be known as Flip. Frisk would have been my first choice, but that was kind of taken, y'know? I've also used this name for a Pokemon that I used in a Let's Play before, but it's not like I was going to draw her anyway, so there won't be any confusion. He's now officially part of the Dragonfruit universe too.

Anyway. On with the rest.
311. I'd started working on my FireRed Ultra-Randomised series again, after a long break, so I drew one of my 'Mons: Pepsi the Dewgong enjoying the cool, refreshing taste. (I've finished episode 8 now, and am most of the way through episode 9, so I'm more than halfway through the five episodes that are in the works.)
312. I'd been working on refining Pineapple Dragon's design for Dragonfruit, so here she is looking off-model since I was halfway through the process. Also, her body has straight-up become a pineapple. I don't really know what's up with that.
313. Spoilers for FireRed Utra-Randomised, I guess. Here's one of my Pokemon doing a Link with his Sun Stone (oh boy, it sure was fun obtaining that) in episode 9, which I'd just been working on.
314. I'd been looking at capture cards (preparing for Spyro Reignited, cough cough), and Elgato just sounded like a dastardly villain whose name would always be prefaced with "The Great".
315. 2-D dies in Infinity War! Yeah... I haven't forgotten about my HeartGold Nuzlocke. It's kind of weird that whoever may or may not have died in the last four episodes met their demise nearly 6 months ago, but exactly who may or may not have died is still completely unknown to anyone except me. And that footage is just sittin' there. Bummer. Anyway, yeah, I'd seen Infinity War that day, and the situation kind of reminded me of my neglected series. I guess if anything, this kind of spoils that 2-D doesn't die, since if he had, I certainly wouldn't be joking about it. I will say, though... not everyone out of the team I had at the end of episode 37 survives to the end of the game. I'll say no more.
316. Spyro speaks for all of us. Considering this is only like my second proper attempt at drawing him, I found it really easy! There's something about his design that makes him really easy and satisfying for me to draw.
317. Another neglected series. Spyro's only been waiting for a month since his big announcement, but Donner's been waiting a year and a half. (Then again, it's been either 10, 13 or 18 years since the last proper Spyro game, depending on who you ask.)
318. Can't have page 34 without some booby. Here's a cute Latias, all squished into the corner and with slightly wonky proportions. I kind of want to redraw this digitally.

Whoof, this page was heavy going. I think I'll have to take another sabbatical after this. Kind of a shame - I was hoping to beat my previous streak of 130 days in a row, but it looks like I only managed 108 this time. Admin Fennec's going to be annoyed with me. As usual.
