Don't Break The Chain 16 (#147-156)

147. This just in: local dragon defies convention by being even hotter with clothes on. It's hard to believe that I last drew K'riestoef a whole year ago. Anyway, I'd just finished off Fox Avatar 6 earlier that day, and felt like drawing another dude in a suit. Also, artprompts.org suggested "a slick reptilian man in a suit."
148. Pouty Pie. It's been a long time since I drew Marble Pie (so long, in fact, that when I last drew her she was known as "Inkie", which I still prefer, but I'll begrudgingly use her canon name). Since I haven't watched any of Season 5, 6, or 7 (man, I really should get on that), where her canon adult design and name were revealed, I just drew her like everyone used to back in 2013. Which is a bit annoying, because as I'm looking at Google Images right now, I can see that her actual mane design is super cute and way better than this, and also that she has a big eyelash thing! I can't believe I forgot that! (I make up for the lack of single big eyelashes further down the page, don't worry.)
149. Grumpy Goth. I wanted to draw goth Fluttershy again, and this seemed like a good opportunity.
150. Speaking of dudes in suits, here's an off-model Avatar Guy (SERIOUSLY, WHY IS IT SO HARD TO GET THIS GUY'S FACE TO LOOK RIGHT WHEN I CAN PRACTICALLY DRAW URSULA IN MY SLEEP?!) petting Admin Fennec. The joke here is that these are both foxes, but one of them is anthro and one isn't (see this article from good ol' TV Tropes). Also, they're both based on different aspects of my personality, so there's some sort of existential thing happening too.
151. A redraw of my Pidgey from Gotta Botch 'Em All! (001-026). I really do want to finish that series, but it's a question of getting around to it.
152. It took me far too long to realise that Taco the Skitty is a literal taco cat.
153. A wise 'Mon. It's Plato, from that Let's Play series that is continuing to be on hold (and will keep continuing as such for some time).
154. Here's an unusual one. When I was rewatching Game Grumps' playthrough of Super Metroid, I noticed one of the enemies when I hadn't before. Earlier, there are these fire seahorses that live in lava and shoot fireballs (called Dragons, amazingly enough). And later on, there are bipedal versions of them that burrow underground, then leap out at Samus in hopes of having barbecued space bounty hunter for dinner. These interesting creatures caught my eye; they're called Alcoons, and as far as I can tell, only one other person has drawn anthro art of these (and it was kinda fat fetish stuff, so... y'know). I kind of want to do a full picture of one like this.
155. In the same vein as drawing #22, here's Yira sitting in the bottom corner of the page, but this time wearing her trademark socks, and with her nose buried in a book... and looking downcast. Maybe it's a sad story. Anyway, I really liked how the tail and legs turned out in this one... but not so much the head. It's a bit skewed. Don't look at it too closely.
156. Bored Fluffderg. After finishing this one (going to great pains to do a tiny drawing in the remaining space) and looking at older pages, I realised that page 3 had a slightly larger space left over that I didn't even consider filling. I feel kind of miffed, but I'm not sure what at exactly.
