Ursula Cosplays as a Furry Icon: Krystal

Heyo. I know I've got a whole lot of other things I should be working on, but that's just the problem. I've got another dragon request going (after [REQUEST] Fusion), an anthro Pokemon pic, an anthro (kinda) MLP pic, another sequel to Mechanism... and it's doing my head in. I've got to juggle all of that with trying to deal with college work, trying to get around to uploading some Throwback Thursdays, and making preparations for my next Let's Play on my YouTube channel. So I need to draw silly little things like this, just so I can stay sane. I hope you understand.

So, what of this? Well, it's my anthro fox character Ursula, previously seen in these pictures:

Besides those, she's been in a couple of doodles, as well as much older pics from before I redesigned her to look less like a child/teenager had drawn her. Which, of course, had been the case, since I first drew her when I was 15. (I'm not showing the hideous old drawings. Go and find them yourself.) And the two deviations I linked above have sketchy lines, too, so she STILL hasn't been in a new drawing with proper lineart.

Anyway, I felt like drawing some silly little comic things of her dressing up as various vulpine furry icons (so Renamon will be next, obviously). When I drew Renamon, I said my furry rite of passage was complete. Well, I kind of forgot about Krystal, of Star Fox fame. And... yeah. I don't particularly want to draw her. I'm not overly keen on her design, mainly because the style they use means she has a really weird face. And yeah, if I drew her myself, in my own style, that wouldn't be an issue, but I'm just not feeling it. So here's me making up for that! It turns out Ursula looks quite good in blue. Oh, and since you won't be nearly as familiar with her personality as I am, she's very protective of her hair. She spent the first 20 or so years of her life being forced to cut it short so she could be a more efficient hunter - but now she's been torn away from that society (due to some aliens rather rudely abducting her, but that's another story), she's been delighted to be able to grow her hair as long as she likes. And if you want my opinion, I think she really does have very pretty hair.

So, yeah. I'll probably do more of these when I'm exhausted with all the other things I'm supposed to be doing, and Renamon will be next. But of course, Renamon has no hair on her head at all, so that'll probably get awkward. This was quite easy because it was all sketchy and I didn't have to spend literal hours fine-tuning each picture, but my hand was killing me by the end since I did it all in one sitting.

Really, though, were they TRYING to make people into furries with Krystal, or what?
